3. Storage Fees

Monthly storage:

  • Jan–Sep: $0.78/cubic foot (standard)
  • Oct–Dec: $2.40/cubic foot (peak)

Long-term storage (365+ days): $6.90/cubic foot or $0.15/unit — whichever is greater.

4. New in 2025: Low-Inventory-Level Fee

Amazon introduced a Low-Inventory-Level fee in April 2024 (now active in 2025). If your stock levels are consistently low relative to your sales velocity, Amazon charges an extra $0.89–$1.11 per unit on affected orders.

5. Returns Processing Fees

For returns where Amazon provides a free return label, Amazon now charges sellers in certain categories (Apparel, Footwear, Jewelry, Watches) $1.78–$5.00 per returned unit.

6. Other Fees

  • Disposal fee: $0.97–$13.05 per unit (size-dependent)
  • Removal fee: $1.04–$10.96 per unit
  • Prep service: $0.15–$2.20 per unit if Amazon preps your shipment
  • Unplanned prep fee: $0.30–$1.30 per unit for non-compliant inbound
